CB1088R is a unique intermediate film designed specifically for chalkboard applications. The face is a textured matte black, 4.7 mil, and cadmium free semi-rigid vinyl. It is coated with a unique moderately aggressive removable acrylic adhesive, which can be applied at temperatures down to 32° F and yet, is cleanly removable from most common surfaces for up to 2 years. The liner is an 83# white kraft offering stability and layflat. CB1088R has excellent dimensional stability. CB1088R can be plotter cut, however due to it being thicker and tougher than most vinyl films, extra pressure and sharp blades will be necessary.
