3M Scotchcal Perforated Window
Graphic Film 8171

Use this 4 mil cast, vinyl film to screen print short-term, architectural and vehicle window graphics. The unique 50 percent perforation pattern allows a full graphic image to be seen on the outside while allowing viewing through the window from the inside.

This high gloss film is white on the image side, black on the reverse side. It has a clear, removable, pressure-sensitive adhesive and a polyethylene-coated paper liner with a clear film backing. The 4 mil cast, vinyl film is approved for exterior, short term, screen printed graphics. It is a first surface film designed for architectural and vehicle windows, and it is recommended for use where restricted viewing regulations are enforced.

This film's pressure-sensitive adhesive allows quick adhesion to a substrate. Warranted applications include screen printed Scotchprint Graphics for store windows, and it may be applied over 3M vinyl films or painted metal between windows. Application substrates include transparent acrylic, glass, polycarbonate, 3M vinyl films, and painted metal between vehicle windows. Laminate this graphic film with 3M Scotchcal Optically Clear Overlaminate 8914 ES for optical clarity and protection from environmental factors such as dust, water and dirt that may collect in the perforations. This film is removable with heat for up to one year on glass, acrylic and polycarbonate substrates.

When used according to written instructions, graphics made with this film are covered by the 3M MCS Warranty - the most comprehensive warranty in the industry.
